Bedroom Units
Fulton's Lodge (one & two bedroom units) sits on the upper White River just off Denton Ferry road (Baxter County road #1) between the White Hole and the Narrows. Wildcat Shoals, well known to fly fisherman, is 3 miles downstream from the lodge where Fulton's maintains a private river access at Fulton's River House. The lodge sits about 100 feet from the river's edge. Across the river one can see the reason why the river looks so green. Lush hardwoods on the steep bluffs reflect light on the water giving it that special emerald color. As cool evening air condenses over the river's surface, a gradually thickening mist climbs slowly upward to a height of about 6 to 10 feet. You can watch all of this from the windows and grounds of the lodge. Perhaps the most enjoyable way to enjoy the ever-changing river is while you cast over it from right in front of the lodge. There's several good wade-fishing spots along the river in the lodge area. All 4 units are mirror images of each other. Each unit has a nice view of the White River, picnic tables, and a large manicured yard.
The kitchens have apartment size
refrigerators with internal freezers, apartment size 4 burner electric ranges with oven,
single stainless sinks, toasters, microwaves, pots, pans, cooking utensils and dinnerware
for four. Units have percolator coffee pots, but if you prefer, coffee is served in the
office every morning with a complimentary continental breakfast.
Each 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds and a ceiling fan. We will push twin beds together to accommodate you. Fulton's Two Bedroom Units These two units are mirror images of each other. Each is private and quiet. The master bedrooms have 1 full bed, 1 twin bed, a ceiling fan, and a large private bathroom. The second bedrooms have 1 full bed, 2 twin beds, and a ceiling fan. The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you need to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The living areas have a rocker recliner, sleeper sofa, basic satellite swivel wall mounted color TV with remote. Both units are heated and cooled with central heat and air conditioning and a woodburning fireplace. All photos below are of unit 6.
The kitchen has a full size refrigerator with separate freezer top, full size 4 burner electric range with oven, microwave, electric drip coffeemaker, toaster, pots, pans, silverware, dinnerware, and double stainless sink. The dining table has enough seating for 4 persons.
One bedroom (above) has 1 full bed and 1 twin bed, a ceiling fan and a large private bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds, 1 full bed, and a ceiling fan.
